Indeed
Job Posting Redesign
Redesigned Indeed's job posting funnel, used by 3M employers monthly, across desktop, mobile, and INTL, cutting the flow from 20+ questions to 10-12. Owned design end-to-end across all three surfaces, driving $23.6M in annualized revenue and a 5-point lift in global mobile conversion.
Years
2024-2025
Role
Lead UX Designer
Scope
Interaction design, research synthesis, stakeholder alignment
CHALLENGE
Indeed's job posting funnel had grown to 20+ questions through years of incremental additions. More fields meant more drop-off, and mobile was just a shrunk-down copy of desktop rather than its own experience.
APPROACH
Led a 3-day workshop with 30+ cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts to align on funnel priorities
Synthesized research across first-time and returning users to separate real friction from assumed friction
Tested and iterated before committing to final direction, including validating what didn't work before landing on the relocation-targeting approach
SOLUTION
Cut the funnel from 20+ questions to 10–12
Rebuilt mobile from scratch instead of compressing desktop
Surfaced relocation targeting earlier
Standardized the US and INTL experience
OUTCOMES
Drove $23.6M in combined annualized revenue by lifting completion rate ($14.9M) and new-user mobile conversion ($8.7M)
Increased global mobile conversion 5 percentage points (+13pts US, +15pts France)
Lifted DACH market completion 18%
Grew Premium adoption 50% by surfacing relocation targeting earlier in the flow
